INTERNSHIP IN BRUSSELS

In the period from November 25 to December 6, 2018, Professor of the Department of History and the APK of Pavlodar State Pedagogical University, G.E.Otepova completed a scientific internship at the Free University of Brussels. The organizers were the Modern Education & Research Institute. Advanced training program was prepared special for university professors and was held under the program "Modernization of the professional activities of teachers: tools, skills, opportunity", and took 72 hours. During the internship, leading foreign professors, scientists and specialists addressed the audience. Internship participants studied the use of case studies and online technologies in the course of their teaching with Professor of Economics and Business of the Levin Catholic University and the Head of the Center for Research on Globalization, Innovation and Competitiveness (Brussels Campus) “Modern teaching methods” Stein Kelchtermans.

Professor of Neurolinguistics at the Free University of Brussels, Pete Van de Cran presented the results of research on the use of the CLIL approach to transition to multilingualism in teaching.

Lecture course presented by Oksana Pozdnyakova (Institute of Modern Education and Research), which includes such interesting topics as “Grants from the European Union”, “Innovative teaching methods”, “Teacher brand building”, “Creating online lessons and courses”. "," Internationalization of education: practical aspects for teachers ", etc., Director of the Institute of Modern Education and Science Ekaterina Tsaranok spoke on the methodology for developing problems of critical thinking.

In the framework of internship program participants visited the European Parliament, Parlamentarium (the most interactive museum of world) and students’ campus. A unique and unforgettable was a visit to the archives of manuscripts and rare books of the Royal Library of Belgium.

At the end of the program was held an international scientific conference called “Professionalization of pedagogical and scientific activities of teachers”, where all participants of the internship made their speeches. At the end of internship all participants were awarded certificates.
