The choice of a profession is one of the main life choices made by a person at the school age. By choosing a profession person choose a way of life. On the 8^th of December, 2018, Professor of the Preschool Education Department Sakenov D.Z. was held  a professional orientation round table “Choosing a profession” with a team of №36 school of Pavlodar During the meeting at the round table with the team of №36 school, was presented a video about PSPU, were distributed papers with PSPU specialties and  information about the rules for receiving documents at the PSPU. During the round table it was concluded that while making a  choice about future profession, a high school student usually focuses on his interests and inclinations without taking into account his own adequacy to the requirements of a particular sphere of professional activity: the presence of psycho-physiological capabilities, intellectual potential, professionally significant personal qualities. Professor Sakenov D.Z. and colleagues noted that qualified assistance is that counseling on choosing a profession helps a high school student to determine the presence and direction of his professional interests and inclinations, personal and business qualities necessary to master a certain area of professional work; informs him about the content and working conditions in the framework of the teaching profession of interest; introduces the rules of decision making and planning your professional path. The final choice of the future profession remains for the high school student himself.
