WINNERS OF THE REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

On 9-10^th of February, a regional Sambo championship among boys and girls up to 20 years old was held in the "Bayantau" sports complex. The best athletes from all over the region met on the carpet in order to measure their strength.

Competition were organized with the aim of selecting athletes for the national championship and develop sport skills. PSPU students took an active part in the event and the best of them became winners of prizes.

In the weight category of 52 kilograms, the victory was won by Makgozov Iren (KIL-11). In the weight category up to 68 kilograms, the third place went to Salenbaba Sali (FKS-11). Winner of the third place in the weight category of 82 kilograms also became Erkebai Akimzhan (IPF-31). In the female category, they distinguished Khaunkyzy Lazzat, who became the owner of second place.

We sincerely congratulate team of PSPU with their victory. We also want to thank the coach Temirbolatov Kairat Bayazitovich for the professional training of our athletes.
