Center for the Study of Academic Excellence

The Center for Academic Excellence Research is a research and educational entity established at the Alkey Margulan Pavlodar Pedagogical University (KeAK).

It was established under the "Center for Academic Excellence Research" Targeted Funding Program and aims to advance science, education, and technology.

Goals and objectives of the academic excellence program and the CAP

Goals of the academic excellence program:

1)  improving the quality of higher and postgraduate education and the competitiveness of higher education institutions;

2)  strengthening the educational and scientific potential of higher education institutions;

3)  building the institutional capacity of higher education institutions and developing institutional culture.

Objectives of the academic excellence program:

1)    conceptual and methodological support for CAP projects;

2)  provision of expert and other support for CAP projects;

3)  monitoring of CAP indicators and metrics;

CAP goals:

1)    ensuring the high quality of educational services;

2)  ensuring the intensity, efficiency, and effectiveness of scientific research;

3)  strengthening institutional capacity.

CAP objectives:

1)  internationalization of educational and research activities;

2)  strengthening the capacity of management and academic staff;

3)  development of cooperation with regional enterprises and organizations.

Four laboratories operate within the Center for Research on Academic Excellence under mega-grant BR28712263, titled "Creation of a Comprehensive Scientific and Innovation System for Training Pedagogical Personnel to Support the Development of Gifted Children in Kazakhstan."
