The first holiday of September

Today the first day of new academic year was celebrated in the walls of Pavlodar State Pedagogical University. University pro-rectors, employees, teachers and students took part in the solemn event. Vice-rector for educational and methodical work and new technologies Tekzhanov Kairat Mukhamedkhaphizovich delivered a congratulatory speech for first-year students.

This year university starts its work at a new pace. The university will prepare students for 63 specialties of the pedagogical direction. For those, who want to continue their education, the Master's and Doctoral degree studies were opened. In comparison with last year, the number of grants has increased. 813 people of 2224 students enrolled, will be educated free of charge on state educational grants. The decision of students to study at this university is absolutely right. Because, according to the quality of the knowledge provided, PSPU takes a second place among pedagogical educational institutions of Kazakhstan. Also, since the beginning of the academic year, the college will begin to train teachers on the university basis.

There are winners of republican Olympiads and international sports competitions among those who entered the university. The right to enter the flag of the PSPU at the solemn event went to the world champion of 2017 on powerlifting Zhurgina Anastasia.

The room in which the event was held was completely filled. For the newly-minted students there were well-known tunes and a song performed by Shakim Maussym.
