PSYCHOLOGICAL LECTORIES FOR SUICIDE PREVENTION

On 29^th of January, psychologist of the Center of Practical Psychology I.Y. Gaponenko held a psychological lecture on suicide prevention with second-year students. The topic of the lecture was not only about the fact of negative consequences, which entails depriving oneself of life, but also about the reasons of such actions and ways to prevent it. Students took an active part in the discussion, answered questions.

During the event students were shown a short film called “You can choose ...”, in which people who attempted suicide and did not do so expressed their opinion on this issue, based on life experience.
