PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION - 2019: ROLE AND SIGNIFICANCE

On 18th of April the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines organized and held a scientific-practical conference on the topic “Presidential election - 2019: role and significance” in the framework of the early President election of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Moderator: K.M. Tekzhanov – Rector’s Advisor on strategic development.

Many reports on this important topics were made during the conference. Speakers were Doctor of Law, Head of the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities Iksatova S.T., Doctor of Philosophy Nigmetzhanov K.G., Student of the group OEP-41 Kurmankul A., Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of HaAPK Kuzembaev N.E., Candidate of Historical Sciences, senior teacher of the Department of HaAPK Kanafin K.K., Doctor of PhD of the Department of HaAPK Sadykova A.M.

At the present stage, the social role of election is that they are an institution of direct democracy, the highest direct expression of people’s power. Participation of citizens of the Republic in election is voluntary; no one has the right to restrict someone’s will. We hope that Kazakhstan people will make a right decision.
