PRESENTATION OF THE TEXTBOOK "REGIONAL STUDIES"

“Regional studies” textbook was presented in the conference hall of S. Toraighyrov regional library. The presentation of the long-awaited textbook was attended by scholars, teachers and intellectuals. Deputy Mayor of the region Meiram Begentayev said: “This textbook was published in the framework of the strategic article of our President Nursultan Nazarbayev “Towards the future: spiritual modernization”. The textbook includes literature, history, archeology, geography, biology. I believe this initiative will be important for generations”.

Teaching with this textbook will begin on January 1, 2019. Thus, students in the region will begin to get acquainted with a brief history and culture of their native land. Speaking at the meeting, the head of the regional education department Dinislam Bolathanuly noted that the textbook is of great importance for the education of the generation: “Today is a great event. Today is not only the day of teachers, but also the day of the meeting of scientists and teachers. This is due to the fact that the textbook "Regional studies" was published and sent to students. This lesson shows the amazing history of the region, its magnificent geography, beautiful nature, animals, people, traditions. I am convinced that children who read this textbook love their homeland and, therefore, love the whole country”.

The rector of PSPU Altynbek Nuhuly and the head of the public foundation “Mir Nur Anna” Bakhytzhamal Maksilova officially presented the textbook “Regional studies”.

Speaking at the meeting, PSPU rector Altynbek Nuhuly, head of the group of authors of the textbook "Regional studies", focused on the basic concept and position of the textbook: “The famous scientist Akseleu Seydimbek has the phrase "A man without natural heritage, a people without a birth". Things like love for one’s nation, homeland and patriotism come through this natural heritage. Therefore, the goal that we set was to convey the story. The main goal and interest lies here”.

A member of the author's group of local literature, a professor at the PSPU, Mansia Alinova, spoke about the structure and content of the textbook. Although the structure of the textbook throughout the country is the same, the content is different. Each region has its own history. Multiple disciplines are facilitated for students of grades 5-7 and written in understandable language. It is also true that scientists write about these classes. At the same age (11-13 years old), adolescents adopt values and begin the first stage in the formation of historical consciousness. The textbook was subjected to scientific, subject-oriented, educational and methodological, social, "renaissance" programs.
