OUTSTANDING ACADEMICIAN OF THE 20TH CENTURY

This year Kazakh people celebrate the 120th anniversary of birth of the famous academician Kanysh Imantayevich Satpayev. In connection with this significant date, a decade dedicated to our famous countryman is taking place in the territory of all Pavlodar region.

Pavlodar State Pedagogical University also hosts various events in honor of life and activities of Kanysh Imantayevich. In this regard, the Scientific Library named after E. Bekmakhanov of PSPU organized an event “Adamzattyn alyby – Kanysh Satpayev”, the purpose of which is to promote the biography, life and work of Kanysh Satpayev to the younger generation.

The first speaker of a small concert, the senior teacher of the department of geography and chemistry, Alibek Yelemesov, in his speech, revealed the image of a major academician, spoke about his versatility. Representatives of the student philharmony Orazbek Bakytkhan and Talent Kaden performed Kanysh Satpayev’s favorite songs “Eki zhiren”, “Kara torgay”, “Bayanaul” for the audience.

Also, students of our high school were impressively reading the arnau of classic poets Tumanbai Moldagaliev and Muzafar Alimbayev dedicated to Kanysh Satpayev. During the event, much was mentioned about the famous descendants of the academician. 

A book exhibition dedicated to life and work of Kanysh Imantayevich was organized in the lobby.
