ORGANIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL WORK IN A MULTICULTURAL EDUCATION ENVIRONMENT

On 17th of January of this year, a city meeting of the expert commission on the theme “Organization of educational work in a multicultural education environment” was held at the secondary school №25 of Pavlodar. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the main aspects of the formation of a multicultural, functionally competent and multilingual personality in the context of modern education, as well as the exchange of experience, during which a number of events were held. One of such events was the talk show “On scientific way”, which was attended by representatives of the city department of education and the innovation center, teachers of city schools, and also scientists from higher educational institutions of the city. On behalf of the Pavlodar State Pedagogical University, the meeting was attended by Professor of the Kazakh Language and Literature Department Y.B. Shakhaman, as well as Professors of the Foreign Languages Department G.K. Kenzhetayeva and R.Z. Saurbayev, who made a contribution to the discussion of effective ways of modern multilingual education.
Another educational event held by the school during the city report was an exhibition on the subject of the President’s article “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe”. The exhibition was attended by high school students and university students, including PSPU and PSU named after S. Toraigyrov. Here participants were divided into groups and presented their layouts for each of the values listed in the article, and explained their reports. Pavlodar State Pedagogical University was represented by 2 teams.
Akhtanov Timur from the group HM-21 and Muskina Zeynep from the group TD-11 produced a mock-up on the theme “Kazakhstan - the birthplace of apples and tulips” and got the 2nd place. A student of the IS-22 group of the Faculty of Humanities Erkesh Serik presented to the jury chain mail and five main weapons of the Kazakh warriors, made be her. For a good disclosure of the theme "Ancient metallurgy of the great steppe", Serik won the 1st place.
Events ended with a gala concert, where the winners were awarded diplomas.
