Mayra Shamsutdinova's Monument opened in Pavlodar

The bust of the famous composer and folk songs performer was opened in Pavlodar in Usolskiy microdistrict. The height of the entire monument is 3.5 meters. Local citizens and city guest took part in opening ceremony. The memorial was erected by support of regional and city authorities.

The author of the composition is the famous sculptor Azat Bayarlin. Pavlodar State Pedagogical University also made a historical contribution to presenting culture and art of Mayra Shamsutdinova. University prepared a film about famous countrywoman and presented it to the wide audience.    

The customer of the whole project was the famous political figure, honorary citizen of Pavlodar Kuat Yesimkhanov.

The place for the monument was not chosen by chance.  It is the street called “Mayra’s” that named after the famous singer in the Usolsky microdistrict,-  said the chairman of the public council Alexander Ryumkin. Now all fans of the art of Mayra Shamsutdinova can easily find her monument.

Billboard with a photo of Mayra Shamsutdinova was placed opposite the monument to the memory of well-known singer of Pavlodar region.

The memory of this outstanding young woman is still alive in the hearts of her fans so far. She has made an enormous contribution to the art and culture of Kazakhstan.
