MEETING OF STUDENTS AND VETERAN TEACHERS WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THANKSGIVING DAY

In accordance with the Decree of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan №173 of February 14, 2016, Thanksgiving Day is celebrated annually on the 1st of March in our country. In this regard, a meeting of activist students with the “Council of Veterans” was held within the walls of PSPU. The meeting was held in free form. Members of Council of Veterans told the students about the history of university, their career path, stages of formation and development of higher education institution.

Thank-you speech on behalf of the university administration to veteran teachers, who made a valuable contribution to the development of university was delivered by Maksat Nygmanov, vice rector for educational work and social issues, who also thanked young teachers for their hard work.

During the event, students performed a beautiful kui for guests. Main purpose of this meeting is to increase the importance of the profession of teacher.
