Regional tournament on Kazak kuresy among adolescents 2002-2003 year of birth was held in the sport complex of PSPU. This was a qualifying round of the championship of Kazakhstan. Young athletes who won prizes in the regional tournament will take part in the national stage, which will be held in March in Aktobe.

More than 150 athletes from 10 districts and 3 cities took part in the regional tournament. Including boys in seven weight categories, and girls in eight weight categories.
