II ASTANA WINTER MARATHON "BEYOND THE LIMITS OF POSSIBLE"

Student of the FKS-31s group Uakhit Abay took part in the race in order to support the participants of capital's marathon.

On Sunday, Astana hosted a major sporting event of this winter - II Astana Winter Marathon “Beyond the limits of Possible”, in which Pavlodar sportsmen also took part. Marat Zhylanbayev, the ultra marathon runner, the sevenfold record holder of the Guinness Book of Records, became the inspirer of this event.

In our city, runners held a race in support of Pavlodar residents - participants of the Astana marathon, on the territory of “Ertis” ski base. The start of the race was held simultaneously with the start of marathon in Astana. The distance of 5, 10, 21 km was overcame by more than sixty participants. There were also organized launches for young runners - the guys overcame a distance of one kilometer. Many Pavlodar residents, who ran in Pavlodar, previously submitted an application for participation on the website of organizers of Astana Winter Marathon “Beyond the limits of possible”. The result of their race was included in the overall standings of marathon participants.
