GLORY TO THE GREAT ANCESTORS

Their life is a huge legacy for the modern generation. Till now, people remember and honor these outstanding people who were born on the territory of Pavlodar region. The International Conference dedicated to the anniversary of five outstanding figures of Pavlodar region was held in the City Palace of Culture named after Yestay. Anniversary dates of these people coincided with the 80th anniversary of the Pavlodar region. Universities of Pavlodar region in cooperation with Pavlodar oblast akimat and Ministry of Culture and Sports held an international scientific and practical conference on August 3, 2018, called "Uly Dala murasy: tarih, tulga, tagylym", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Pavlodar region in the framework of the ethnofestival "Uly Dala Eli". This event took place in the Palace of Culture named after "Yestay".

Representatives of the regional authorities, leading universities of Pavlodar were invited to the conference. The meeting was attended by delegates from the Russian Federation. Akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov opened the conference.

Today's conference, which held in the City Palace of Culture, was dedicated to the jubilee dates of people born in the territory of Pavlodar. 350th birthday of Bukhar Zhyrau, 200th anniversary of Musa Shormanov, 160th anniversary of Mashkhur Zhussup Kopeyev, 150th anniversary of Yestay Berkimbayev and 125th birthday of Sultanmakhmut Toraygyrov.

The specialists of Pavlodar State Pedagogical University made their contribution to this event. The university creates a whole cycle of films about outstanding persons, - says the pro-rector of the University Alexander Svidersky.

The invited republican guests expressly shared with their opinions in the framework of the conference.

These strong  personalities  of Pavlodar region made famous not only their land, but the whole Kazakhstan. Modern generation should remember the achievements of these poets and educators.
