COLLABORATION OF PPU NAMED AFTER A.MARGULAN AND THE US EMBASSY IN KAZAKHSTAN

On May 3, 2024, Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after A.Margulan was visited by representatives of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan - Sarah Smith ELS, Olga Paterova, coordinator of English language programs, Zarina Karimova, coordinator of American corners in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Starting from September 7, 2023, the EP Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages employs a native speaker teacher from the USA, Ghadah Rahman, who teaches classes for 2-3 year students of the EP Foreign Language, and also conducts classes at the Speaking Club in PPU and in the American corner in the regional library named after Toraighyrov. The guests first met with the acting Rector of PPU, Vice-Rector for Science B.S. Yessengeldin. During the meeting, representatives of the embassy asked and answered questions regarding the cooperation of PPU with American universities, the further work of native language teachers from the United States in the EP. Bauyrzhan Satybaldinovich expressed gratitude to the embassy representatives for the work of Ghadah Rahman, not only as a teacher, but also an active participant in conferences and round tables held at PPU. In turn, Sarah Smith thanked the PPU for cooperation and excellent working conditions for their teachers. Also, representatives of the embassy met with the dean of the Higher School of Humanities A.E. Karimova and the teaching staff of the EP FL.
During the meeting, Sarah introduced the teachers with new resources and programs offered by the US Embassy in Kazakhstan.
