Big Ideas Camp

In the period from August 19 to August 26, the summer camp "Big Ideas Camp" organized by the University of AlmaU, with the main sponsor-company ERG, was held in the village of Belovka. Students from Pavlodar, Aktobe, Kostanay and Karaganda, as well as PSPU students Baizhanov Aynash, Myrzagozhina Madina, Barinova Meruert, Seitbattalov Madi, Bolatbek Ibrahim, Koshchanov Aidos took part in this camp.

On the first day, a number of events were organized in order to familiarize all participants and divide them into teams.

The next day, immersion in the foundations of entrepreneurship began, and the first speaker with the theme "Leaders and Leadership" was the rector of AlmaU Kozhahmetov Asylbek Bazarbaevich.

Following days, a variety of trainings and practices were held. For example, such prominent business trainers as Abylai Yusupov, Albina Salimbayevna, Yevgeniy Kamashev and others spoke on interesting themes. All of them made a contribution to the development of entrepreneurship skills of each camp participant.

There were also guest speakers who shared with their success story: blogger-Birzhan Ashim, founder and CEO of Neupusti.net -Ardak Berdibekov, owner of Almaty Hostel Dom-Shakir Islambakiyev, they made it clear that everything in this world can be realized only if you really want it.

All work in the camp took place in the "Take and do" mode. During each training students carefully worked on their projects, experts shared with their opinions, teams from different regions asked each other questions, thereby improving their project.

On August 25,  teams presented their projects to the jury members. 3 teams from Pavlodar participated in this event.

On August 26, a solemn closing of the camp took place. All the students became close friends, and didn’t want to leave the summer camp. In the future, close communication between universities of different regions is planned.
