Anniversary of Mashkhur Zhussup Kopeyeev's birth

The 160th anniversary of Mashkhur Zhussup Kopeev's birth was celebrated in the Pavlodar region. Festive events took place in the homeland of the thinker in Bayanaul district. Yurt village is located not far from the philosopher's mausoleum.

Today, in the context of the "Sacred Kazakhstan" program, the name of this person is worthy to take its place in the Sacral Map of our country. His life is shrouded in mystics. He was a theologian, poet and visionary. According to historians Mashkhur Zhusup predicted even the date of his death. Akim of Pavlodar region Bulat Bakauov took part in the jubilee event dedicated to the 160th anniversary of Mashkhur Zhussup. The head of the region met with historians and literary critics of Pavlodar.

The mausoleum of Mashkhur Zhussup Kopeev is located on an elevated territory. A whole complex was built on this site. It includes a hotel for pilgrims, a museum and a conference room.

In the framework of poet’s anniversary concert of aityskers was held. Improvisors from Pavlodar and Bayanaul district performed on stage.

Pavlodar State Pedagogical university made a contribution to anniversary event. Representatives of the university presented film about Mashkhur Zhussup Kopeev to the audience.
