ACADEMIC COUNCIL. RESULTS OF THE YEAR

On 27^th of December, the Academic Council w ith the participation of the management and professors of the university was held. During the meeting, the results of 2018 were summed up, plans and goals for the next year were discussed. A small video about achievements, major news and changes in PSPU for the current year was shown.

At the end of the year, a doctoral program, a master's degree, a college and a training center “Foundation” were opened on the basis of PSPU, a license was obtained for 9 educational programs of the institutional and specialized accreditation center. We entered the top ten universities of Kazakhstan. 270 out of 400 students graduated with honors, we also released the first swallows of the program “Mangіlik yel zhastary - industriyaga” - “Serpin-2050”.

As part of the implementation of the President’s program “Rukhani zhangyry”, the celebration of the 200th  anniversary of Musa Shormanov was held and mausoleum was opened. In honor of the 150th anniversary of Estai Berkimbayuly a large conference, which was attended by a delegation from Pavlodar was organized in Turkey. It is worth noting the contribution of the rector of PSPU Altynbek Nuhuly to the organization of this event.

The University held meetings with the head of the Regional English Language Office in the United States, Timothy Collins, and French Ambassador Philippe Martiné. This is one of the most memorable events for PSPU students. During the year many cultural events were held. Meetings with such pop stars as Saken Maygaziev, Abdizhappar Algozha, and others were held in form dialogue.

Also, the university launched the StartUp Center, a business incubator, a student service center and B2B offices. Educational audiences named after R.Nurtazina and G.Kapenov for students and teachers were presented. In the near future, we plan to build a new hostel for students with 750 beds.

Within the framework of the Academic Council it was decided to appoint a new vice-rector. The adviser of rector Ignatova Elena Vasilyevna was appointed to the post of vice-rector on academic issues. Kairova Meruert Kalievna became the new dean of the faculty of postgraduate education.
