A LITERARY AND MUSICAL EVENING

A literary and musical evening named after E. Bekmakhanov was held in the scientific library within the framework of the action “One country - one book”. The event was dedicated to the life and work of Nemat Kelimbetov, an outstanding poet of the twentieth century, who became a brave son for the whole nation. He is an honored worker of the Kazakh science throughout his life. Turkologist, Doctor of Philology, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Humanitarian Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the event, the books by Nemat Kelimbetov “Smart Thinker”, “Ancient Literature”, “Ancient Literary Rarities” and “I do not want to lose hope” were presented in the form of a virtual exhibition.

Literary evening was decorated with beautiful songs performed by creative students. At the end of the event, the audience watched the dramatic performance of students on the script of Nemat Kelimbetov’s monologue novel “I do not want to lose hope”.
