History

The history of the department dates back to 1987. The first head of the department was Denisova T.I.

Among those who stood at the origins of pedagogical training of preschcool education personnel were: Ph.D., Associate Professor Matkin V.V., Ph.D., Associate Professor Monastyrenko Z.A., senior teachers Bazarbekova L.G., Yagodina Zh.Sh., Makarenko A.D., Vedilina E.A., Sechina N.M., Sarseke G., Fomina T.N., Zhomartov A.M., Asenova N.S., Kenenbayeva M.A., Nurumov B.A.

On April 1, 2004, the department received its name - the Department of Preschool and Primary Education, in 2007 the department was divided into two: the Department of Preschool Education and Upbringing, the Department of Pedagogy and Methods of Primary Education.

In different years, the department was headed by Ph.D., Associate Professor Korovaiko I.V., Ph.D., Associate Professor Osipova S.V., Ph.D., Associate Professor Omarova V.K., Ph.D., Associate Professor Negmetova G.N., Ph.D., Associate Professor Asenova N.S., Ph.D., Associate Professor Kenenbayeva M.A., PhD, Associate Professor Tusupbekova G.T., PhD, Associate Professor Zhumabaeva Z.E.

In 2009, the two departments were reunited, and the department of preschool and primary education functioned until October 1, 2018.

Since October 2018, the department has started functioning separately. The department was headed by PhD, Professor Zhumabayeva Zaida Efimovna.

As a result of the reorganization of the university, from November 1, 2019, the EP "Pedagogy of preschool education and training" became part of the Higher School of Pedagogy.

In 2020, the two educational programs were merged. As a result of the reorganization of the university, from November 1, 2019, the EP "Pedagogy of Preschool education and training" became part of the Higher School of Pedagogy.

In December 2021, the ЕP "Pedagogy of preschool education and training" was implemented as a separate ЕP. The teacher-expert Abdyrova Ardak Orazgalievna was appointed the head of the ЕP.
