Educational programs "Pedagogy of preschool education and training"

All the activities of the EP  "Pedagogy of preschool education and training" are focused on the expectations of employers and the needs of the region's economy. It is based on the general strategy of innovative development of pedagogical education, reflected in the documents on the modernization of the higher professional education system of our country. Professional and scientific-pedagogical training of highly qualified personnel at two levels is at a high level:

• 6B01210 – "Pedagogy of preschool education and training", bachelor's degree; Educational trajectory: Educator and educator-methodologist

6B01211 Preschool education and speech therapy, bachelor's degree;

• 7M01211 - "Pedagogy of preschool education and training", Master's degree; Educational trajectory: Preschool education and upbringing, teaching at a university

In the direction 6B01210 – "Pedagogy of preschool education and training", training according to the educational program 6B01210 – "Pedagogy of preschool education and training". Degree awarded: Bachelor of Education in the educational program 6B01210 – "Pedagogy of preschool education and training".

Form of training:

• full-time on the basis of general secondary education (4 years)

• full-time on the basis of technical and vocational education (3 years)

• full-time on the basis of technical and vocational education (dual training for 2 years)

• full-time on the basis of higher education (dual training for 2 years)

The purpose of the educational program is: to train highly qualified, functionally literate, competent, competitive teachers of preschool education, in demand in the educational labor market, who are able to conduct pedagogical activities taking into account the characteristics of children of younger preschool age.

Currently, the EP “Pedagogy of Preschool Education and Training” employs 13 full-time teachers, including 2 candidates of science, 3 PhD, 2 expert teachers, 6 teachers.

In the process of mastering the EP  "Pedagogy of preschool education and training", the disciplines of general education, methodological cycles, private methodological and profiling disciplines are studied. All disciplines relate to the updated content of the kindergarten program on pedagogy and methods of preschool education and serve to train a qualified, modern educator.

Graduates of the EP can also continue their education in a master's degree in the specialty.

Teachers and students of the EP regularly participate in international and national scientific conferences. In addition, the Higher School of Pedagogy annually organizes scientific conferences on the basis of the PPU.

The Higher School of Pedagogy, which implements training in the EP  "Pedagogy of preschool education and training", cooperates both with preschool institutions of the city of Pavlodar and the Pavlodar region, and with higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, near and far abroad. Cooperation with preschool institutions makes it possible to monitor the changes taking place in preschool education. The heads of kindergartens and preschool teachers take part in the discussion of the catalog of optional subjects. This allows you to include in catalogs the items necessary for work in preschool institutions.

EP "Pedagogy of preschool education and training" carries out constant scientific and methodological support and practice-oriented interaction with preschool organizations in Pavlodar. Cooperation with higher educational institutions serves the purposes of exchange of experience, provides an opportunity for the scientific development of teachers and students of the EP. The prospects for the development of the EP  "Pedagogy of preschool education and training" are connected with the further development of relations between preschool institutions of the city of Pavlodar and the Pavlodar region; the introduction of new disciplines in the EP, allowing graduates to acquire the competencies necessary to work in modern institutions of preschool education.

The exchange of students within the framework of academic mobility took place with Universities (Zlin, Czech Republic; South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical Institute).

The educational program has repeatedly occupied high places in the national ratings of the EP. The EP  "Pedagogy of preschool education and training" takes prizes. Every year students of specialties 6B01210 –  "Pedagogy of preschool education and training" actively participate in research work, take prizes at international and republican Olympiads, competitions, conferences.

In general, the participation of students of the specialty 6B01210 – Pedagogy of preschool education and upbringing in subject Olympiads has a positive trend. To determine the effectiveness of participation in subject Olympiads, we took a percentage indicator for the prize place: 1st place – 100%, 2nd place – 66%, 3rd place – 33%, no place – 0%.
