Scientific activity of the educational program "Social pedagogy and self-knowledge"

The professional development of the teaching staff is reflected in their research, teaching, and practical activities. The educational program employs faculty members with academic degrees in relevant fields, as well as those continuing their studies in doctoral programs. In particular, PhD holder Zh.E. Alibayeva studied in the «6D012300 – Social Pedagogy» program under a targeted order of PSU; expert lecturer G.B. Tazhenova is a graduate of the same program. G.I. Zhumazhanova is continuing her doctoral studies at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, while A.E. Karimzhanova is beginning her professional career in this field.

The faculty capacity of the educational program consists of highly qualified academic staff with substantial experience in research, teaching, and practical activities. Faculty members regularly participate in professional development courses, seminars, training programs, and internships at leading universities in Kazakhstan and abroad.

Faculty members of the educational program have completed international internships and professional development programs at Istanbul University (Türkiye), Curtin University Malaysia, and in Finland.

In 2023–2024, faculty members participated in the «Scaling Finnish Educational Programs» course.

In 2025, Z.Sh. Shavalieva, Zh.E. Alibayeva, G.A. Zhanatova, and A.M. Utilova completed the research internship «Bibliometric Analysis using VOSviewer and Scientific Databases» at Curtin University Malaysia.

G.A. Zhanatova also completed an international internship in Finland under the «Finnish Pedagogy» educational program.

The faculty actively participates in international and scientific-practical conferences dedicated to inclusive education and teacher education, and incorporates the results of research and teaching-methodological activities into the educational process.

Faculty members have developed teaching and methodological materials used in the educational process, including «Fundamentals of Organizing Research Activities at School», «Management in Education», «Leadership in Education», «Technologies of Social and Pedagogical Work», and «Test Tasks in Social Pedagogy».

The faculty capacity of the educational program ensures the effective implementation of the educational process by combining academic research, practical experience, international cooperation, and continuous professional development.
