Scientific activity

The research work of the teaching staff of the EP " PaP" is carried out in accordance with the annually approved individual plans of teachers, the work plan of the Higher School of Economics.

In 2014, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Sarsenbayeva B. G. was awarded the academic title of corresponding member of the Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In 2015, Professor Sarsenbayeva B. G. became the winner of the grant «Best University teacher-2015» of the MES of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Candidate of Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor Kolyukh O. A. in 2014 won the international grant of the program «Erasmus Mundus CASIA III and in 2015 completed a scientific internship at the Department of Experimental Psychology of the Faculty of Psychology of the Universidad de Granada (Granada, Spain) with the research topic: «Cross-cultural differences in the manifestation of emotional states and in the perception of emotional intelligence among masters of Kazakhstan and Spain» (from 30.12.2014 to 22.06.2015). During the internship, she was invited to participate in the Research Group   «Cognitive Neuroscience».

Teachers of the department annually take part in competitions for grant funding of scientific research. Within the framework of grant funding, in 2016-2017, a scientific study on the topic «Methodology of teaching in the context of multilingualism» was implemented under the guidance of Candidate of Ps. n., Associate Professor A. Zh. Aplashova.

In the framework of the Republican Student Olympiad in Psychology in 2016, the scientific project of the student Galiguzov D. V. took the second place. In 2017, the scientific project of the student Surmiy L. A. took the third place. Scientific supervisor-senior lecturer Ayapbergenova G. S.

In 2019, students Baskhan Zh. D., Moldakulova T. S., Kadralieva M. P. took part in the subject Olympiad in pedagogy and psychology in Almaty and took the third place. Supervisor-senior lecturer Bisembayeva N. A.

In 2016, senior lecturer Ayapbergenova G. S. entered the target doctoral program in the specialty «Methods of primary education» of the Karaganda State University named after E. A. Buketov.

In 2016-2017, students Shyndaly A., Yerkin A., Atymtay N. N., Aliakparova K. N. under the guidance of senior teachers Bisembayeva N. A. and Utegenova M. S. won first prizes in the republican competition of scientific projects among students in Astana.

In 2016, Ph. D., PhD Pak T. V. took part in the X International Scientific Congress on Addictology with the report «Addiction and Psychotherapy» in Teheran, Iran.

Since 2016, Ph. D., Associate Professor O. A. Kolyukh has been a regular participant of the international online round table «Psychological and pedagogical aspects of adaptation of students with disabilities», since 2018-moderator of the international online conference «Adaptation aspects of children with autism and their families» (Trans-Baikal State University, Chita; Polessky State University, Pinsk). In 2017, O. A. Kolyukh was invited by the Rector of the Baltic International Academy to participate in the international symposium «Activating the mental resources of the subject: theory and practice» (Moscow). Riga, Latvia) and made a presentation on «Mental resources of the individual as a factor of emotional stability».

In 2018, senior lecturer Mataev B. A. entered the target doctoral program in the specialty «Pedagogy and Psychology» of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. In 2018, senior lecturer N. A. Bisembayeva defended her dissertation in the specialty 13.00.01-General Pedagogy, history of Pedagogy and education for the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences in the Dissertation Council at the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical University named after I. Arabayev, Bishkek.

In 2018, Candidate of Ps. n., Associate Professor A. Zh. Aplashova became the winner of the grant «Best University Teacher-2018» of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and received the academic title of associate professor in psychology.

In 2018, Candidate of Ps. n., Associate Professor O. A. Kolyukh signed a state procurement contract (No. 348 of 19.11.2018) on the topic "Training on the topic «MAC» in the amount of 46,800 tenge.

In 2019, Candidate of Ps. n., Professor A. Zh. Aplashova completed a scientific internship at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University under the program «Modern approaches to the management of the educational process (according to the profile of pedagogical activity)». Since 2019, Aplashova A. Zh. is a member of the dissertation council in the specialty 8D01101(6D010300) Pedagogy and psychology at NAO «Toraigyrov University».

In 2021, Ph. D., Associate Professor O. A. Kolyukh completed a scientific and pedagogical internship under the program «Theory and practice of scientific and pedagogical approaches in education» (International Science Group and the Higher School of Information Systems Management (ISMA). Riga, Latvia).

Every year, the university hosts «Days of Student Science», where students take an active part in the intra-university student scientific conference, round tables and scientific competitions «Best student-researcher» and «Best SNK» and win prizes. In 2016, the SNK «Metaphor» (scientific supervisor, Ph. D. Kulsharipova Z. K.) took the 2nd place; in 2017, the SNK «Psi-factor» (scientific supervisor, Ph. D. Kolyukh O. A.) took the 1st place; in 2019, the SNK «Rukhaniyat» took the 2nd place (scientific supervisor, senior lecturer, Ph. D. Bisembayeva N. A.).
