History

In 1968, the Department of anatomy and physiology was established at PSPI. The first head of the Department of anatomy and physiology was candidate of Biological Sciences Viktor Moiseevich Dengub. His energy and organizational talent contributed to the rapid qualitative growth of the Department.

It should be noted that currently the department uses a rich educational and material base,which has been preserved since its foundation.

Viktor Moiseevich Batkaev A. I., Himich G. Z., Ovchinnikova E. K., kazakevich N. P., Slepchenko G. V., Demchenko V. G., Mukataeva zh. M. were able to attract experienced teachers to the work.

Specialty «Defectology»

Training in the specialty 5b010500 - "Defectology" has been held at PSPI since 2005. From 2004 to 2009, the head of the department was candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Sergeeva V. V.

Merger of the Departments of defectology and anatomy and physiology in March 2009 in connection with the reorganization. Since 2009, the department has been headed by candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Mukataeva zh.m.

In the period from 2009 to 2018, a qualified teaching staff was created and operates, and the necessary information and material and technical base was created. Today, Pavlodar State Pedagogical University is the only university in the region that trains defectologists.

The presence of a good material and technical base, the availability of educational and methodological literature, information resources, and high professional training of the teaching staff allow us to efficiently implement the goals of the educational program. Students from all regions of Kazakhstan and Russia study in the specialty 5b010500-Defectology.

In recent years, the specialty 5b010500-Defectology has taken a leading position in the region in the field of training highly qualified Bachelors: according to the results of the ranking of Universities of Kazakhstan by the NAO of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the areas of teacher training in 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 academic years (pedagogical universities) takes the 2nd place in the ranking of Universities of Kazakhstan, in 2017 - the 3rd place in the iaar.

Students of Tomsk State University and Kozybayev NKSU studied at PSPI on academic mobility in the specialty 5b010500-"Defectology", our students study at Altspu (Russia), Tarspi, OMPI, Kozybayev NKSU.

Since January 2013, elements of the dual training system in the Sspecialty 5b010500  "Defectology" will be introduced into the training process.

The educational program 6B01900 – "Special Pedagogy" is being implemented at the Higher School of Pedagogy in accordance with the State Program for the Development of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025. The State Educational Program says that there is an insufficiently developed system of timely response to violations of the rights of children, including those who find themselves in a difficult life situation, the lack of conditions for inclusive education in a significant part of educational organizations and basic amenities pose threats to the safe and comfortable life of children.

The University of OP 6B01900 – "Special Pedagogy" is being implemented for the second year. Students enrolled in OP 6B01900 – "Special Pedagogy" are awarded the academic degree "Bachelor of Education" upon completion of their studies and are offered an educational trajectory along 2 educational trajectories: "Speech therapy"/"Oligophrenopedagogy". Students at OP 6B01900 – "Special Pedagogy" are provided with equal opportunities and access to participate in mobility programs.
