History
The educational program of Russian language and literature is one of the oldest in Pavlodar Pedagogical University. It was founded on December 1, 1962, and the history of the Faculty of Philology begins with it. The first head of the department was Anna Ivanovna Mikhailova. The founders of the department are outstanding scientists and teachers: PhD, Associate Professor Grigory Ivanovich Kirsh, who was the permanent dean of the Faculty of Philology for about two decades, PhD, Associate Professor Stalina Andreevna Kuzmenko, who worked at the Pavlodar Pedagogical Institute for 30 years (from 1964 to 1994), PhD. head of the Department Yuri Pavlovich Andrianov, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Elvira Nikolaevna Neverova, Candidate of Philology, Associate Professor Vladimir Vasilyevich Mukhin.
A great role in the formation and development of the department was played by Yuri Markovich Zlatopolsky, Faina Nikolaevna Yakovleva, Elsa Petrovna Mahler, Lena Stepanovna Yankovskaya, Claudia Alexandrovna Nasonova, Lidia Konstantinovna Burtseva and many others. These excellent teachers, brilliant scientists laid the foundations of the scientific and educational traditions of the department.
In different years, the department was headed by Galina Ilinichna Nosova (one of the first graduates), Tatyana Mikhailovna Veselovskaya, Zifa Kakbaevna Temirgazina, Natalia Fedorovna Krylova, Gulnara Seilbekovna Suyunova.
Now the head of the OP "Russian language and Literature" is the Candidate of Philology Gulsum Abzuldinova Kenzhebekovna.
During its existence, the department has experienced great changes. Russian Russian language, literature, practical course of the Russian language and teaching methods are represented by the staff of the modern department of the former four departments: the Department of Russian Language, Literature, practical course of the Russian language and teaching methods. But with any changes, the department sought to maintain the high level of teaching that was laid down by its founders.
Therefore, such a great importance at the Department of Russian language and Literature is respect for traditions, continuity, scientific and methodological communication between young teachers and those who have been working at the department for a long time. Among the veterans of the department are such well-known people not only in the Pedagogical Institute, but also in the city and region, as Naum Grigoryevich Shafer, Valeria Nikandrovna Afanasyeva, Svetlana Filippovna Nurkenova.
Since the beginning of the 2000s, the department has been preparing candidates and doctors of philology by the members of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, which contributed to the formation of the Pavlodar scientific linguistic school, which is well-known in the Republic of Kazakhstan and far beyond its borders: in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, etc. This tradition arose due to the extensive scientific activity of Professor, Doctor of Philology Temirgazina Zifa Kakbayevna, who, after opening a postgraduate course at PSPI, PSU, InEU, was engaged in the training of highly qualified scientific personnel.
So, in 2002, the first candidate's thesis was defended under her supervision – the candidate's thesis on the specialty 10.02.01-Russian language of the senior teacher of the department G. N. Kenzhebalina. Then, within 8 years, Professor Temirgazina prepared 9 more candidates of science (M. K. Akoshev, R. K. Zyuldubaev, B. T. Karimov, G. O. Dyusembayev, A. K. Kushchegalinov, M. K. Kairov, B. D. Nygmetov, O. K. Andryushchenko, etc.), 1 doctor of Science-G. S. Suyunova.
After 2010, when Kazakhstan switched to the "master – doctor PhD" system, Professor Temirgazina continued to defend her PhD theses prepared under her supervision in major scientific centers of Russia: Tyumen State University, Tobolsk State Pedagogical Academy, Ural State Pedagogical University (Yekaterinburg). It was there that the head of the OP "Russian Language and Literature" G. K. \
Abzuldinova, G. A. Tezekbayeva, G. O. Azylbekova, Zh. B. Abildinova, G. S. Mullagayanova, L. V. Fanakova, M. S. Bachurka, Zh. Omasheva et al. All students of Professor Temirgazina successfully work in the field of higher education: at the Department of RIL of our university (G. K. Abzuldinova, M. K. Kairov, O. K. Andryushchenko, G. S. Suyunova), the Department of Foreign Languages of our university (B. D. Nygmetova, F. R. Avazbakieva), in universities of Almaty, Nur-Sultan, Karaganda, Russia.
Thus, we can say that the members of the department belong to one scientific school, are guided in their scientific and pedagogical activities by the principles formed in it, and develop its ideas. The department has formed not just a succession of personnel, but a succession of scientific positions and approaches; a theoretical and practical community of like-minded scientists has been created. This undoubtedly raised the department to a new theoretical and educational level of activity.
The International Conference "Languages of Wisdom", held from February 2-4, 2023, became a historic event for the OP Russian Language and Literature.
