History

The second half of the 50s of the last century was marked by rapid development of industry and the rise of agriculture in the region. In this regard, there was a sharp increase in the population of the region. There was a shortage of teachers. This circumstance caused the need to open a pedagogical Institute in the city, the history of which reflects the history of the departments of the faculty of physics and mathematics.

The Institute started working in December 1962. At that time, the joint Department of mathematics and physics was founded as part of the Pavlodar pedagogical Institute. The head of the Department was zholamanov Kuandyk Dosmagambetovich, and its members included Shayakhmetov T. K., Mukanov G. M., Soltan E. E., Kirillov V. V.

In 1964, this Department was divided into the following departments: the Department of physics (V. V. Kirillov) and the Department of mathematics (K. D. Zholamanov). in the following year, 1965, the Department of algebra, geometry and MPM was created on the basis of the Department of mathematics (Zholamanov, K. D.) and Department of mathematical analysis (Dadaev A. M.).

In 1973, the Department of algebra, geometry and MPM was divided into two departments: algebra and MPM (Zholamanov K. D.) and geometry (Soltan E. E.). at the mathematical departments worked Shayakhmetov T. K., Mukanov G. M., Soltan E. E., Zikrin O. Z., Datkaev a.m., Shatalina M. I., Saukenov R. H., Besschetnova A. I., Kushkova K. E., Khairullina N. Zh., Zdor V. K., Tuchinsky L. A., Ayashinov M. M., Bazarbekova L. G., Kadkalov V. G.,

A special feature of the physics departments was that for many years teachers who passed the all-Union competition worked here. As a rule, they had good fundamental and methodological training. These are candidates of physical and mathematical Sciences, associate professors Rovkin V. I., Dobromyslov V. N., Ermakov N. A., Dubrovsky V. N. (doctor of philosophy), Timchenko I. N. In those years, these teachers conducted scientific and methodological seminars at a high scientific level, which raised the academic culture of the educational process in the specialty "Physics" and contributed to the fact that the Department has grown a whole galaxy of young scientists-graduates of the Department-doctor of science Akhmetova G. K., doctor of science Nurumzhanova K. A., Ph. D. Igonin S. I., Ph. D. Salikbayeva T. sh., Ph. D. Zimenok A. I.

In the first years of work, the Institute was rapidly developing, the recruitment plan increased, the expansion of specialties, and with it the staff, which predetermined the need for classes in two shifts with all the problems that followed. The construction and commissioning of new buildings, swimming pools, dormitories, and canteens have significantly improved opportunities for improving the educational process. The Institute was recognized by the region's public. The quality indicators of the faculty have significantly increased.

Teachers took a significant part in the creation and development of physical and mathematical school education. Thus, when opening math classes in schools No. 3 and No. 6, the first teachers were V. G. Kadkalov and E. E. Soltan.

In different years the Department was headed by B. N. Drobotun, Pavlyuk I., Panova, T. I., A. D. Abdykalykov, Katkalova T. I., Bertucci V. Y., Mukanov, G. M., Mashrapov N. To., Soltan, E. E., Kovtunets V. A., Kairbaev K. K., Makienko N. F., Nikiforov A. S. Igonin S. I., Nurmanova K. A. Makhmetov T. S., the departments of mathematics and physics at the time was working konurbaev T. T., Ganelin, D. G., Wacker, L. N., Kuskova K. E., Manukyan L. H., Khairullina N. W., Zweiman N. P. Ivko M. N., The B. N. Drobotun, Naiman, B. A., Bertucci V. Ya., I. I. Pavlyuk, Mubarak A. M., Zweiman E. V., Ardasheva I., Gostishchev I. P., Kudyshev, A. N., Salikbayeva T Sh., A. D. Gutenko, Alova N. I., Dubrovsky, Shestakova L. T., Kaparov S. E., Imanbaev G. Zh, Ilyasov M. N., Akhmetov G. B., Tuyakov E. A.

histor1

In the early 80's, during the all-Union certification of the University, German selevko, a well-known Russian scientist, doctor of physics, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences, Professor Of physics at the Yaroslavl GPU, worked as an expert at the Department of physics. He highly appreciated the achievements of the Department of physics in those years.

The scientific work of Lyuba Tsiglintseva (scientific supervisor nurumzhanova K. A.) at the Republican competition took second place and participated in the all-Union competition in Moscow, the student was awarded a diploma. Student kasymzhanova Rosa at the competition of scientific papers (scientific supervisor Nurumzhanova K. A.) in 1986 took the 3rd prize at the all-Union competition in Vilnius and was awarded a third-degree diploma. In 1989, at the all-Union competition "Student and scientific and technical progress" student Dubitskaya I. N. (supervisor Naiman B. A.) won the national round of the first place and was awarded a diploma of the first degree. In the same year, she took part in the final round in Kiev, where she made a scientific report on the topic "Differential equations in the school mathematics course" and received a high rating from scientists of the Kiev state pedagogical Institute named after M. Gorky and received an offer to join them in graduate school.

Since September 2020, the head of the educational programs "Physics" and "Mathematics" is Seitkhanova Ainur Kuspekovna.
