History
The history of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports begins in 1967.
For more than 50 years, the department was headed by: A. S. Kuts (1967-1970), I. Ya. Johim (1970-1975), V. I. Dovgan (1975-1980), V. F. Kim (1980 – 1984), Assoc. Gorodnicheva N. Ya. (1984-1989), Assoc. Tertychny A.V. (1990-1994), E. V. Bronsky (1994-1998), Assoc. Kolev V. T. (1999-2004), associate professor V. I. Lebedeva (2002-present).
By the beginning of the new 1967-68 academic year, graduates of the Vinnytsia Pedagogical Institute Kolev Viktor Tikhonovich, Kulenko Vladimir Lukich and graduates of the Kharkiv and Smolensk Institutes of Physical Culture: Piven Vera Nikitichna, Iochim Irina Yakovlevna arrived in Pavlodar. In the 1968-69 academic year, the Department staff TMPV joined young energetic graduates Vinskogo and Semipalatinsk pedagogical institutes: Mastercook Vladimir Semenovich Ivanov Clara Feodorovna and vypuknik Alma-ATA Institute of physical culture: Zagrebelny, Mikhail Fedorovich.
The first graduation of specialists 2114 "Physical education" took place in 1970, 39 young people became certified specialists. In the future, the teaching staff of the faculty and departments was replenished at the expense of graduates of PSPI.
Since 2002, the department began training in the specialty: "05010400 -" Initial military training", with the assignment of an academic degree: bachelor of Education in the specialty 5B010400 - "Initial military training" with the assignment of the qualification-teacher-organizer of NVP.
Over the years of the department's existence, more than five thousand teachers have been trained in the specialties of physical culture and sports, physical culture and biology, and initial military training.
The educational program provides training in the following specialties:
- 5B010800 - "Physical Culture and Sport" (Bachelor of Education)
- 5B010400 – "Initial military training" (Bachelor of Education)
- 6M010800 – "Physical Culture and Sport" (Master of Pedagogical Sciences.)
