The base of practices for students of the educational program 6B01900 "Special pedagogy" are special educational organizations of Pavlodar and the region. The practice gives students the opportunity to show their knowledge and formed professional competencies in practical activities and decide on the next place of employment. Every year there is a great demand for special teachers in the field of speech therapy. The main place of work of special teachers: educational organizations of any level, organizations of the social and cultural sphere, healthcare.

In order to help students meet with potential employers, as well as plan and start their professional activities, a career center has been created at the university.

The Career Center is a structural unit of the university that interacts with educational programs on the organization of professional practice, promotion of career and leadership skills of students, undergraduates, doctoral students, employment of graduates. The Career Center helps to select a base of practices, builds individual trajectories, works in a digital environment, keeps track of its graduates.The Career Center distributes graduates of the university every year, providing vacancies in the field of study.

It is important to note that it is not enough for graduates of pedagogical universities to have a diploma in their hands to be hired. They are required to pass a National Qualification Test. Employment in an educational organization is carried out on a competitive basis for all vacant or temporarily vacant positions.
