Recognition and successes

1998 year. Graduate of PSPI Lyudmila Prokasheva became the bronze medalist of the 1998 Olympic Games.

 

 

2002 year. The main building of the Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute has monuments for two great enlighteners of the Kazakh land, state and public figures Musa Shormanov and Abikei Satpayev.

2004 year. The Pedagogical Institute emerged from the structure of the PSU named after S. Toraigyrov. By the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 128 of 3 February 2004, the Republican State Treasury Enterprise “Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was established.

               

 

 

2004 year. On September 1, there were 8 faculties and 29 departments. Master’s and college are open.

2004 year. PSPI is a republican expert site for approbation and introduction of the course “Self-knowledge”.

2004 year. The editorial and publishing department of the PSPI started the publication of two republican magazines, “Педагогический вестник Казахстана” (Pedagogical Herald of Kazakhstan) and “Биологические науки Казахстана” (Biological Sciences of Kazakhstan).

 

2005 year. Visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev in the PSPI.

 

 

2008 year. The certificate of compliance of the quality management system with the requirements of the international standard ISO 9001: 2000 has been obtained.

2010 year. PSPI was awarded the “European Quality” badge. An agreement on participation in the Magna Charta of Universities has been signed.

 

2011 year. The Association of Alumni of PSPI was established.

 

 

2011 year. PSPI took the second place in the ranking of pedagogical universities in Kazakhstan.

  

 

2012 year. PSPI celebrated its 50^th anniversary. In honor of the anniversary, memorial plaques were installed for the first rector of the PPI A.S. Katerinin and the rector T.K. Shayakhmetov.

 

 

2012 year. The monument to the First Teacher is established at the expense of the staff of the university and sponsors in Pavlodar.

   

2012 year. The scientific library of PSPI was named after the famous historian E. Bekmakhanov.

2015 year. In the national ranking of pedagogical universities in Kazakhstan, conducted by the IKAEQE, Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute took first place and entered the top ten universities in the country.

 

2016 year. President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev visited the new Students’ House.

 

2016 year. Opening of the Regional Archaeological Center named after Academician Alkey Margulan. The building along Lenin Street, 151 was transferred to the university by the regional akimat.

2016 year. September 19, 2016 lecturers, veterans of pedagogical work, employees, students and numerous guests marked the first birthday of the Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute for the first time.

2016 year. On the birthday of the Institute, the stele “I love PSPI” was opened in the courtyard of the student hostel on September 19. The stela looks bright and colorful – on the green pedestal there is an inscription in English, meaning in translation “I love PSPI”, and a huge heart.

 

2016 year. PSPI took the 3^rd place among pedagogical universities in national rankings and entered the top ten of the country’s higher educational institutions.

 

2016 year. Trilingual education is implemented through 12 educational programs. 43 teachers conduct training sessions in English.

 

2016 year. The admission campaign-2016 has become a record for the last five years. Compared to the previous year, the number of enrolled in the university was 150%.

 

 

2016 year. The PSPI Development Program for 2016-2019 was adopted.

2017 year. Pavlodar State Pedagogical Institute will turn 55 years old.
