BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAM IN THE SPECIALTY «KAZAKH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE»

1. THE CONTENT OF THE PROGRAMME

            Description of the program. The educational program of bachelor on specialty «6В01712– Kazakh language and literature» (IP),made up of a complex of pedagogical, psychological, methodological and scientific-theoretical, scientific-methodical, scientific-pedagogical disciplines of higher qualification in the field of linguistics and literary studies for the preparation of teachers of the Kazakh language and literature in schools of Kazakhstan, approved by the MES RK received in the public registry, the official training document in a pedagogical University.

The main goal is the formation of full-fledged competencies of a specialist with the provision of the basics of primary highly qualified knowledge for mastering the profession.

Duration of study:

• for applicants after school: 4 years;

• for applicants after college: 3 years;

• for second higher education: 2 years.

Mode of study: full‑time.

Level of education: bachelor’s degree (higher education).

Educational trajectory: teacher of the Kazakh language and literature / translator.

 

Tasks:

1.    Study and development of a complex of scientific-theoretical, scientific-methodological, scientific-pedagogical educational disciplines of the ЕP in the specialty «Kazakh language and literature»;

1. 2.    Formation of competencies of the ability to apply the results of theoretical and practical knowledge related to the specialty;
2. 3.    Formation and improvement of practical skills; development of;
3. 4.    Training in competencies for improving modern knowledge.

 

Place of practical skills in the ЕP. Students studying in these specialties on the basis of the gymnasium for gifted children named after Abai in Pavlodar, in the regional Kazakh boarding school for gifted children named after Y.Altynsarina, in school No. 35, pass pedagogical, methodological practice for the formation of pedagogical skills according to the approved order of the university and under a mutual contract with these schools. The formation of pedagogical practical skills is carried out in stages according to a specially approved curriculum in the period from the second to the last year.

Undergraduate students who have mastered this specialty can work in the following areas:

Teacher of the Kazakh language and literature in the Kazakh school, college;

 Teacher writer;

 Specialist of the state language;

 A specialist can work as a secretary.

 

3. CONTINUING EDUCATION

Graduates who have fully mastered the bachelor's degree program in the specialty «6В01712– Kazakh language and literature» (IP) can enter the master's program in the scientific and pedagogical direction «7M01710 – Kazakh language and literature» immediately after graduation or after passing the teaching service for 3 years.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM «6B01711 – KAZAKH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE AND ENGLISH»

Program content. ЕP of higher education «6B01711-Kazakh language and literature and English» are intended for a standard curriculum, a trained classifier of higher education specialties (bachelor's degree), a pedagogical professional standard, a Dublin descriptor agreed in the European qualification sphere, subjects «Kazakh language», «Kazakh literature» for grades 5-11 of the basic secondary education level updated The content is compiled in accordance with the curriculum (in Kazakh) and the academic policy of the University. Degree awarded: Bachelor of Education in the educational program "6B01711 – Kazakh language and literature and English".

Duration of study: 4 years

Form of study: full-time

The educational program of a magistracy in the specialty «Kazakh language and literature» methodological document for the preparation of teachers (lecturers) of the Kazakh language and literature of the highest qualifications for schools in Kazakhstan on scientific and pedagogical direction «7М01711 – Kazakh language and literature», consisting of a set of disciplines based on high qualifications in linguistics and literary studies approved by the MES RK received in the public register, the official training document of the pedagogical University.

3. OBTAINING SCIENTIFIC KNOWLEDGE

Undergraduates-graduates of the scientific and pedagogical direction «7M01711-Kazakh language and literature» can enter the doctoral program in the scientific and pedagogical direction «8d01710-Kazakh language and literature», as well as in the specialties of philology, literary studies and linguistics immediately after passing the teaching service or after completing the master's degree.

Objective of the educational program:

The main objective of the educational program for obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the specialty “8D01710 – Kazakh Language and Literature” is to train highly qualified specialists in the Kazakh language and literature who are competitive in the educational space and meet the requirements of the labour market and employers.

 

Level of education: doctoral studies (higher education)

Duration of study: 3 years

Form of study: full‑time

Direction: scientific and pedagogical

 

Tasks set to achieve the goal:

 - to demonstrate the foundations of upbringing and the formation of a well‑rounded personality of a specialist in the field of Kazakh philology;

 - to master the foundations of high‑quality professional training for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD);

 - to teach at higher educational institutions, to teach the basics of managerial and research activities;

 - to master new paradigms in the field of philology;

- training in the methodological system and methodological techniques of philological research;

- independently carry out research work on the Kazakh language and literature;

- acquiring competencies related to the applied aspect of philology;

- knowing the integration of various trends in philological science;

- becoming familiar with new objects of philological research.
