Educational program “Biology”

The purpose of the educational program "Biology" is to prepare a biology teacher with communicative, linguistic, research, managerial, creative and leadership qualities.

Every year, the staff of the Higher School of Natural Sciences organizes the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual Problems of Natural Science". The purpose of the conference is to discuss the theoretical, methodological, methodological and practical foundations of natural science and natural science education in the context of content and technological renewal.

Cooperation in research work and academic mobility with universities in the near and far abroad - Vytautas Magnus University (Kaunas, Lithuania), Tomsk Polytechnic University (Russia), Kassel University (Germany), Omsk State University named after F. Dostoevsky (Russia) , East Siberian State Academy of Education (Irkutsk, Russia), Altai State University (Barnaul, Russia).

The development priority is the high-quality organization of all processes: highly qualified training of students, strengthening and increasing the effectiveness of research activities, expanding the areas of functioning, efficient organization of labor, improving the quality of the teaching staff, strengthening the material and technical base.

In 2020, a student of the educational program 6B01550 Biology, Samekova Rusana took 2nd place in the Republican Olympiad, which was held on the basis of Karaganda State University named after E. Buketov, the PPU team consisting of  R. Samekova and I. Gulko under the guidance of teachers B.Zh.Baimurzina, N.P. Korogod took the 3rd overall team place.

2nd place in the individual championship of the Republican Olympiad in the specialty 5В011300 - Biology in 2019 was won by the student of the educational program Saparbekova Bakytgul (the Republican Olympiad in Biology was held at the Kylyorda State University named after Korkyt Ata), team leader B.Zh.Baimurzina

From 6 to 10 April 2020, a 2-year student S. Zhumatayeva took part in the XXIV International Scientific Symposium of Students and Young Scientists named after I. Academician M.A. Usov "Problems of Geology and Development of Subsoil", 75th anniversary of Victory in the 2-nd World War. The work of S. I. Zhumatayeva (co-authored with the undergraduate student M. Klimkina) "ELEMENTAL COMPOSITION OF THE Above-ground part of the wormwood (ARTEMISIA ABSINTHIUM) UNDER TECHNOGENIC LOADING" was awarded a diploma. Supervisor - Ph.D. N.P. Korogod.

In the 2019 academic year, undergraduates of the Higher School of Natural Sciences Oleinik Yulia and Mamunova Aliya were given the opportunity to participate in the republican competition of students' research papers. According to the results of the competition, the work "Development of educational and methodological support for laboratory work in the framework of the updated educational content for grade 8 in biology" under the guidance of Ph.D. Denis Vasilievich Ponomarev was awarded with II degree diplomas.

 

From March 13 to March 17, 2020, in Nur-Sultan, the association of legal entities in the form of an association "National Movement" Bobek" together with the Congress of Scientists of Kazakhstan held the VІII International Scientific and Practical Conference "GLOBAL SCIENCE AND INNOVATIONS 2020: CENTRAL ASIA" in the framework of the I International Edition countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States "BEST YOUNG SCIENTIST -2020", 1st year undergraduate Zhanna Markaich received a 1st degree diploma (supervisor - Candidate of Biological Sciences G. Asylbekova).

Teacher of the EP "Biology" G.K. Kabdolova winner in the nomination for the best doctoral student " Жас PhD докторант", diploma of the Department of Youth Policy in Pavlodar region, 2018.

The Scientific Center of Biocenology and Ecological Research, educational and scientific laboratories of "Functional morphology and histology", Zond microscopy, "Anatomy, Morphology and Ecology of Animals" and the museum complex of which have all the conditions for carrying out high-quality scientific work in fundamental, convenient biological and biological and ecological areas.

 

Biology graduates will be able to work in the following areas:

Education (teacher of a educational institution);

Management (departments of education, akimats, organizations for gardening, ecology, etc.);

Science (research organizations by profiles: botany, zoology, human anatomy, physiology, ecology, soil science, genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, etc.).
